*Position: **SOA TESTER * *Location: BUFFALO GROVE, IL* *Duration: 3+ Months (3 to 6 Months)* *Experience: 5-8 YEARS* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* · Should have strong Hands-on experience in Web service Testing, XML testing and SOAP UI testing · Ability to understand the various SOA Testing types relate to Functional or Non-Functional activities or both. · Should be able to prepare the Individual test strategy for related Functional or Non-Functional Web service testing activities · Able to prepare High level test scenarios and guide offshore team on functional areas Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. · Works on problems of complex scope, through extensive usage of standard concepts and principles. · Should be able to Coordinate well with offshore team, Interact with the client and Works as a fully contributing team member Experience in ITKO LISA preferred *TECHNICAL SKILLS*: *SOA Testing*: · Ability to understand the various SOA Testing types relate to Functional or on-Functional activities or both. · Should be able to prepare the 'Individual test strategy for the related 'Functional or Non-Functional SOA testing activities’. · Able to prepare 'High level test scenarios’. · Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. · Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. · Works on problems of complex scope, through extensive usage of standard concepts & principles. · Workses a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance with independent planning & execution responsibilities. · Minimum 2 year experience in SOA & web services project. *Web Testing:* · Should have good knowledge & concepts of UI validations, GUI features etc. Concepts of Globalisation and Localization testing will be an added advantage *APPLICATION TESTING:* · Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like UnitIntegration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing and should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases. · Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool. · Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
