*Hope you are doing great* * Ruby on Rails Developer* *Location: Jersey City NJ (or Reston VA)* *Duration: One year +* *Rate: DOE* *Qualifications* · 3-5 years development experience with open source and object oriented programming languages (Ruby, Python, PHP, Java) · Development experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails. · Development experiencing using APIs (REST, XMLRPC, SOAP). · Development experience using MySQL/Postgresql or other relational databases. · Experience using source control systems such as Git or SVN. · Strong desire to learn new technologies. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. · Experience working in an agile environment. · Experience with technical writing and documentation. · Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent. · Knowledge of Amazon Web Services APIs preferred. · Knowledge of Apache Cloudstack APIs preferred. · Development experience using NoSQL databases (Redis,MongoDB) preferred. · Experience with Behavior Driven (BDD) and Test Driven (TDD) development techniques preferred. · Deployment experience using Capistrano preferred.
