Role: Web Services Developer Location: Fort Mill, SC Duration: Long term Start: Immediate GC & USC ONLY Job Description: · Responsible for development and maintenance of our clients API and CMS applications and support/troubleshooting of user issues. · BS/BA in computer science or relevant field. · 2+ years’ experience in software development. · Strong knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails. · Experience with building, packaging, versioning, and documenting a RESTful API project (this is a nice to have) · Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript. · Experience deploying web applications using Amazon Web Services. · Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems. · Experience using audio in web applications (this is a plus) · Experience with MySQL databases. · Strong understanding of security vulnerabilities in web applications. · Working knowledge of revision control with GIT/GitHub.
