*Start Date: Immediate* *Duration: Position is budgeted through June 30 with possibility of extension beyond that.* The client is working on a WebSphereMQ upgrade from WebSphere MQ 5.X and 6.0 to WebSphere MQ 7.0 and needs a JAVA, JMS, MQ expert with previous experience working on an MQ upgrade to work on this project. Additionally, the person in this role will be tasked with an overall assessment of the entire current system, giving updates and recommendations on what they find and what they recommend moving forward. This person will also need to review the IBM website for any current migration issues noted, and make sure these issues are addressed proactively as well. The emphasis on this position is finding someone with significant experience on JMS development with MQ. Candidate must meet the following minimum technical requirements to be considered for an interview: - Strong development skills with JMS and IBM WebSphereMQ (formerly known as MQSeries). - Experience with IBM WebSphereMQ administration, including setup of Queue Managers, queues, channels; performance optimization, such as log file size, primary and secondary log files, etc. Experience with WebSphereMQ version 6.0 required. Prefer: Experience with IBM WebSphereMQ 7.0. - Experience with J2EE development. - Strong understanding of middleware messaging technologies and infrastructure management. - 3+ years working with JMS and IBM webSphereMQ. - 5+ years working with Java. - Prefer: Experience with Nastel M6 MQ monitoring and JMX server. *J2EE Developer (2 positions)* *Location: Harrisburg, PA* *Start Date: Immediate* *Duration: Position is budgeted through June 30 with possibility of extension beyond that.* The client needs an experienced developer to provide maintenance work on a proprietary system. They will be working on fixes/providing maintenance to the current system as well as developing performance enhancements. Candidates must have significant experience being actively involved from start to finish on projects through the entire SDLC.
