I have a very urgent Direct Client requirement for Job Title: System Administrator Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 12+ months *FUNCTION: * - Work with the project team to analyze, design, and build solutions using IPS-Energy, Report Studio (Reporting Tool), Calculation Studio (Automated Calculation), and SmartGrid DI (workflow / middleware) tools in implementing IPS-Energy - Provide all levels of administrative support including configuration, technical product support, user guidance, installation, system monitoring, test planning, testing, problem diagnosis, issue tracking, issue resolution, and routine maintenance as necessary. - Assist, direct, or participate in the preparation of technical procedures, documentation, manuals, reports and training. *REQUIRED SKILLS: * - Self-starter who works well with direction, yet does not require constant monitoring and task assignment - Bachelor Degree in relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Project Management or equivalent experience. - Excellent problem solving, organizational, teamwork and communication skills - Excellent oral and written communication. *DESIRED SKILLS: * - Experience with C# - Experience using a configurable report writing tool (Such as COGNOS or Business Objects) - Experience writing custom reports that access data directly from a relational database - Experience creating joins and unions in SQL from a relational database - Experience understanding and analyzing data driven business reporting requirements - Utility / Transmission industry - Asset Management - Electrical Engineering - Station Protection and Control - NERC Reliability Compliance Thanks & Regards- ANDY HUGHES.
