*Position :* SAP Hana System/OS Administration

*Location :* Atlanta, GA

*Responsibilities:*

·         24x7 Hana DB operational Support (Database and
Infrastructure/Server)

·         Monitoring (Performance, Resource utilization – CPU, Memory,
Network, Space, Services, Alerts)

·         Database / Log Backups

·         Database restore / recovery

·         Issue & Ticket Support / Resolution

·         Escalation (as needed)

·         Root Cause Analysis

·         Database / Infrastructure/Server Software update

·         System Replication (DR)

·         Configuration Changes (Add/Remove nodes, system, database,
server, network)

·         DB Failover (HA)

·         Data Management / Refreshes

·         Performance Tuning

·         New database / instance creation

·         New Monitoring Implementations

·         User / Security Management

·         Database Audit Management

·         Capacity / Sizing Review

·         Batch Process Monitoring

·         Participate design reviews





*Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Expectations*

1.       Highest quality of work across all project stages or tasks

2.       Adequately qualified and suitably trained (prior to engagement
start date ) personnel

3.       100% coverage for all U.S. and India holidays

4.       System availability maintained at all times and constantly
monitored

                           i.      If system downtime occurs database
reporting manager / senior manager must be informed within *5 minutes* of
the system going down

5.       Prior approval by database manager is mandatory for expected
downtime necessary for system issue resolution

                           i.      Weekly reports on any system downtime
due to Vendor activities should be submitted including: issue, total system
downtime, resolution, and plans for future prevention

6.       Accurate invoice and work estimates

                           i.      Percentage of accurately produced
invoices and work estimates will be measured

7.       On time and accurate time reporting in the Clarity project
tracking system

                           i.      Accuracy will be monitored weekly

8.       Dedicated phone line for each on call representative ,with a
minimum one phone line for production and one for non-production

9.       Shift transition reports delivered on time and with accuracy

10.    Vacation request for approval submitted at minimum 2 weeks prior to
vacation dates

                           i.      All approved vacations must be
documented on the appropriate SharePoint calendar and qualified resources
must be allocated to cover employees while absent

                          ii.      Vacation approval can only be granted by
Database reporting manager or senior manager

11.    All requested activities completed on time

                           i.      Timeliness and quality of completion
will be measured

12.    Responsibility for first resolution efforts towards all issues

13.    Escalation process for all issues must be followed (defined in Hana
DBA On-Call Escalation Responsibilities below in document)

14.    Resolution of Remedy and QC issues within the following defined
timeframes based on ticket criticality:

·         Critical– 1 hour

·         High – 4 hours

·         Medium – 1 Business Day

·         Low – 3 Business Days
