*Role: Jr. Network Engineer*

*Location: Holliston, MA*

*Duration : 6 + Months*

*Work Timings: 12 hour shift. (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM , 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)*

*first week  - 3 shifts*

*Second week – 4 shifts.*


*Minimum 2 years experience required and Max Rate is $25- $27/hr on c2c
(all inc.)*



*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*

The Associate will be responsible for any one or a combination of the
following: resolving network and server related configuration issues
(Device versus Transport-Carrier issues-Vendor); basic configuration CIs,
providing support to sever, transport, circuit and/or security systems
outages and related events.



*QUALIFICATIONS:*



·         2-4  years  experience supporting or working in medium to large
networking or service provider environments supporting LAN/WAN networks.

·         Experience with Windows server patching (WSUS)

·         2-4  years  experience supporting or working in medium to large
environments supporting basic server troubleshooting

·         Ability to work with carriers in the troubleshooting of a wide
variety of network issues

·         Ability to diagnose and isolate problems with physical and
logical layer connectivity.

·         Ability to diagnose and isolate problems on the server level

·         Ability to work on the phone under pressure and maintain a
professional demeanor.

·         Ability to log into Cisco and other vendor equipment via in-band
or out of band access methods.

·         Ability to use Cisco and other vendors’ command line interface to
check configurations and performance counters.

·         Ability to perform and direct others in the installation and
configuration of replacement switches, routers, CSUs or components of each.

·         Ability to log into servers via multiple methods

·         Demonstrated expertise in systematic troubleshooting procedures
in working physical and logical problems with MPLS, multi-link and frame
networks as well as routers, switches, VPN concentrators and firewalls.

·         Ability to perform basic troubleshooting tasks with regards to
server issues.

·         Ability to perform basic configuration tasks on routers such as
IP addressing, speed and duplex settings etc.

·         Possess or be in pursuit of a Cisco CCNA certification.

·         Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
with abilities to negotiate and interact with entry and middle level
management and technical support vendors

·         A+ certification and wireless experience is a plus
