Job Description :   

Must have experience with SAP 

Will be working on competency model development and program model 
development-this 
experience is a plus 

Occasional day trips to NYC and Wilton, CT (maybe once a month) 

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Learning and Development Analyst will partner with internal business area 
leads to understand and build strategic and tactical direction for training 
initiatives. This role is responsible for the design, development and 
deployment 
of training curriculums and courseware, consulting with subject matter experts 
and/or sourcing appropriate content that supports and improves organizational 
efficiency. The Learning and Development Analyst also provides training support 
services for key SAP programs at AIG. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE 

•Bachelors Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, 
Education, 
Communications, Business, or related field 

•Minimum 6 years experience in Instructional Design, building and managing 
training programs 

•Minimum 3 years experience managing corporate systems projects (SAP experience 
preferred) 

•Minimum 3 years experience planning and implementing training solutions 
utilizing 
a learning management system (LMS). 

• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Captivate, 
(experience 
with “cloning” content development software is a plus), and some HTML helpful 


•Proficiency in training measurement, evaluation and surveying. 

•Demonstrated ability to determine key competencies/skills needs related to 
the attainment of business plans/ project completions 

•Expert knowledge in adult educational theories and Instructional Systems 
Design 
(ISD) and their utilization in the development of job/functional training 
programs. 


•Thorough understanding of the training process from needs assessment through 
program evaluation. 

•Strong project management and organization skills; attention to detail; strong 
meeting management skills. 

•Ability to manage change management for training projects; ensuring training 
and communications needs are met. 

•Ability to assess and track training effectiveness through the use of metrics 


•Excellent communication skills both oral and written 

•Experience in training related to IT systems, financial processes, risk, and 
investments is preferred 

•Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
