Full understanding of all phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC). 2. Experience with desktop tools such as MS, Excel, Word, Access, MS Project, PowerPoint and Visio. 3. Functional knowledge with Criminal Justice service organizations. 4. Experience with Quality Center and Rational Requisite Pro. 5. Experience with Rational Modeler. 6. Experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP). Project Description: New York State, National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) Act Record Improvement Program (NARIP) requires the Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) to make inter-agency improvements to records utilized by NICS. The project is expected to have two parts. Part I will provide an opportunity to build a centralized, timely and effective data collection conduit to include federal mental health adjudication and commitment data. Part II will continue with analysis to plan, streamline and implement additional improvements to NICS.
