*Someone with a background in California Real Estate tax will be a very strong candidate.* *From a non-technical perspective* the hiring manager is looking for someone with strong software requirements analysis skills and the ability to envision a software solution from those requirements. Having a property tax background is going to be a HUGE plus to the hiring manage and the team. *From a technical perspective* the hiring manager needs someone with experience in the Microsoft toolset. *Priorities are:* 1. MS SQL Server T-SQL – especially stored procedures and table-valued functions 2. Web apps using .NET/C# 3. MS Workflow Foundation 4. Visual Basic for Applications Experience is going to be more emphasized than education. The minimum education level is a bachelors degree. On a day to day, the contractors will be working with Business Analysts that have worked with California Counties. The contractors will conduct sessions to analyze data, analyze functionality of a selected product. They will then configure the product to the customers needs. They will work with an internal technical staff, product team, and engineering team.
