The team lead will mentor team members on all aspects of the System Design Life Cycle. The team lead will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help resolve issues. The team lead will review and approve deliverables produced by the team. * Interact with the Business users Functional Leads to gather requirement. * Effectively assigns resources on projects to successfully complete projects on schedule. * Review and approve team deliverables * Monitor status of all projects and assist Application/Integration Project Technical Lead with resolving issues. * Clearly communicate expectations to team members. * Act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members. * Escalate and/or communicate issues to Application Delivery Manager as required. * Assist Project Technical Lead to manage project risks. * Lead, and motivate team members on a proactive basis. * Prepare reports on team activities as directed by the Applications Delivery Manager * Ensures that all solutions adhere to project standards and methodologies and that all team members follow established policies and procedures. * Other tasks as needed for successful project completion. To qualify for consideration, you must meet or exceed the following: •Bachelor's in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience is required. •Minimum of 5 years of experience with RPG Programming in an AS/400 environment required. •Strong working knowledge of software applications development methodology. •Ability to design and implement complex software solutions required. •Ability to work with teams that are operating on Offshore/Onsite model.
