Job Description:
*Data Modeler*
*MUST HAVE:*
-
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer
Science, Information Systems, or other related field
-
*4 to 6+ years of experience in*:
-
data modeling, data analysis, relational DBMS design and support and
relevant computing environments with MS SQL products inclusive of MS SQL
2008
-
Experience as MS SQL database analyst inclusive of data design/modeling,
monitoring, and performance tuning
-
4 to 6+ years of experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored
procedures, functions, triggers, DTS packages, scheduled jobs, and linked
servers
-
4 to 6+ years of experience with SQL relational databases, OLTP and DSS,
serving in high performance, service-oriented, multi-tiered environments
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint
-
Experience with DBMS Standards, Best Practices, Terms, Tools are
required
-
Experience as Agile Data Modeler desired
-
Ability to work well in a team environment with education and technology
solutions
-
Demonstrated experience with implementation projects with the following
characteristics:
-
High-profile
-
Multiple technologies and functions
-
Experience working in state government
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff
