*Role: System Integration.* *Duration : 6 Months* *Location :Woonsocket RI, Scottsdale AZ, Buffalo Grove Chicago, Florham Park NJ.* *Description:* *Position Description:* The System Integrator applies technical, problem solving, project coordination and leadership skills to facilitate new system implementations or upgrades of existing ones, in support of company and IT initiatives. The position is strategic to bringing continuity and standards to the delivery process and ensuring quality infrastructure solutions across a variety of platforms and operational environments. *Responsibilities:* • Facilitate identifying and implementing technical solutions for business initiatives, within defined architectures provided by the enterprise architecture groups. • Estimate materials and labor for infrastructure delivery in support of proposed solutions. • Coordinate infrastructure delivery for large and small scale projects across functional groups and with multiple resources. • Identify and report risks and deviations from plan. Assist with issue resolution when appropriate. • Consult among groups, including Network, Datacenter, Database, Desktop, Middleware, etc., to integrate new architectures and technologies into the company’s technical infrastructure. • Act as a liaison between the IS Business Groups, Governance, Architecture, and Operations areas to execute project tasks. • Recommend configurations: evaluate processing requirements and work with technical leads to finalize hardware configurations. • Participate in the design/execution of integration, performance, and failover/recovery testing. *Requirements:* • Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of IS/IT experience. BS or equivalent experience. Advanced degree or MBA a plus. • Strong interpersonal skills – including verbal and written communication, meeting management, conflict resolution, team building. • Strong problem solving skills. Able to drive innovation, collaboration, and solution risk/benefit analysis • Exposure to and familiarity with multiple components of information technology infrastructure, including multiple operating systems, distributed systems, OLTP and batch systems, Web-centric architectures, various hardware components (servers, disk and tape subsystems), network infrastructure components, systems management tools and database management systems • Operational experience with Windows or AIX, and exposure to least one of the following: Solaris, Linux or z/VM. • Ability to work with little or no supervision and minimal assistance. • Familiarity with project management, including ability to interpret project plans and assist project managers with task definition. • Experience working in one or more formal life cycle methodologies such as waterfall, spiral, agile, etc. *ACCOUNTABILITY:* • Ensures all work is executed according to specifications and standards. • Seeks opportunities to learn and understand CVS Health’s business and applies this knowledge in the role. • Identifies consolidation and reuse opportunities. • Understands and follows the CVS Health Enterprise Methodology. • Works in collaboration with Application, Development, Operations and other functional teams. *PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Solution Configuration – Identify a configuration/solution based on company standards that will meet business requirements. Provide estimates for system costs and resource requirements 2. Project Activity Coordination – Facilitate the infrastructure delivery aspect of projects and coordinate with Operations resources and application project managers to deliver solutions on time and within budget. May also support team leads in these efforts on larger projects. Act as a liaison between the IT Business Groups, Architects and Operations areas to execute project tasks. 3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues prior to production turnover: operational, functional, or performance. 4.
