*Job Title* Remote Application Architect(Need USC/GC/EAD-GC only) *Project Location* West Des Moines IA *Duration* 3 months /Contract * Skills Required and Job Description:* *Interview Mode: Telephonic followed by F2F/Skype(non-local)* *Need USC/GC/EAD-GC only* Job Description: • Subject matter expert in Applications Architect. • Provides architectural oversight for the development of highly complex new and/or enhanced applications or products. • Integrates components built by application developers and/or programmers. • Provides technical advice to other departments. • Conducts and provides cost analyses for various approaches. • Creates highly complex application architectures and populates application host/configuration matrices with appropriate strategies, timelines and cost information to increase cost efficiency/effectiveness. • Coordinates with application developers, managers and customer application experts to ensure required features/modifications are included in the appropriate releases to support cross-product features and to communicate architectural designs/standards. • Designs application modules that work together to produce desired product. • Ensures that completed modules provide functionality described by application experts ensuring performance guidelines are met. • Recommends/implements module or functionality revisions to meet performance guidelines. Additional Skills: • Candidate must demonstrate expert knowledge of Life/Annuity Compensation processing, PerformancePlus (PPlus) or DSS experience required. • PerformancePlus (PPlus) is highly preferred, but DSS will be considered. • Service Layer experience a must. • Leadership and communication skills required to direct technical staff through all phases of project development.
