*SQL Database Administrator*
*6 months + CTH* *Indianapolis IN* Citizens or GC Client is actually looking for Mid level DBA who will maintain database engine and someone who can write a SQL server database backup encryption system. Experience with SQL Server database administration and monitoring. Client is also migrating code from one system to another so need someone who slightly can re-write code * Specific duties include: * · SQL2008 and SQL2012 database administration and monitoring · Participate in disaster recovery and database backup and recovery planning and testing · Assess and monitor database storage requirements and performance · Provide recommendations for database structure and process improvement · Assist tier three support in troubleshooting activities · Integrate applications running on SQL databases · Develop reporting frameworks and standards for SQL databases · Assist partners and internal consultants with queries and reports against SQL databases *Qualifications needed: * · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems · *5+ years experience administrating Microsoft SQL databases (Expert knowledge of SQL Server 2008 and 2012 preferred) * · *Proficient in writing SQL queries and stored procedures* · *Experience with T-SQL required* · *Knowledge or experience in System backups, customer product upgrade automation using PowerShell, VBScript, ASP and or C#* · *Strong working knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and 2008, and must possess good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking* · Some experience with SQL Server Reporting Services · Proficiency in monitoring, identifying, tuning, and resolving database performance bottlenecks · Experience with database installations, upgrades, migrations, backup and recovery in Microsoft SQL database environment · Proven record of owning problems from identification to resolution · Ability to provide guidance to developers on optimization of SQL code · Experience with .NET applications utilizing Microsoft SQL Server database desired · Strong oral and written communications skills are required to effectively interact with management, customers, and partners *Thanks & Regards* *RIPUDAMAN BAKSHI* [image: cid:[email protected]] *AMER TECHNOLOGY* *MBE, NMSDC & HUB* *210-568-7484* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *www.Amersolutions.com* <http://www.amersolutions.com/> *"**A**ccountable* *M**anagement**.* *E**xceptional* *R**esults."* The information contained in this electronic message and any attachments to this message are intended for the exclusive use of the addressee(s) and may contain proprietary, confidential or privileged information.
