Interacts with Business Analysts and Developers to design and administer an integrated database and to provide input into application design. Participates in code review. Involved in configuration management and software promotion process. Applies advanced technical knowledge to maintain and provide production support of a technology area. Qualifications - 3 years of experience developing and maintaining Oracle databases, using related utilities and tools Experience with Oracle Golden Gate Replication Experience in Linux and Windows environments. Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring Knowledge of ALL Oracle backup and recovery scenarios Knowledge of Oracle security management Knowledge Oracle data integrity Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle Knowledge of both database and system performance tuning Possess sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors and systems administrators •Design database environments and databases. •Design, develop, modify, test, release/ deploy and maintain database objects. •Design database objects and supervise develop, modify, test, release/ deploy and maintain by other DBAs. •Design, develop, modify, test, release/ deploy and maintain database security and audit solutions design, develop, modify, test, release/ deploy and maintain database recovery solutions. •Execute database and data recovery. •Manage database performance, capacity and availability. •DBMS SW implementation, upgrade, patchingOrders created from this request shall be governed by the US Government Master Agreement.
