The position will report directly to an Engineering Manager. *This is a hands-on development role with expectations of core development and technology leadership*. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior associates on the team. *Primary Responsibilities* · Work closely with the business and other areas to understand and contribute to the execution of Staples Mobile projects · Assure execution of projects by delivering assigned tasks in a timely manner · Ensure projects are deployed on time with little to no downtime · Establish and sustain a high level of partnership with the Business. Instill a level of confidence in technical knowledge in order to suggest and deliver solutions to business opportunities · Understand and help execute the technical roadmap developed for Staples Mobile, including adjustments as needed based on business environment and priorities · Provide technical leadership by helping to establish best practices, recommend design patterns, identify opportunities to refactor code, oversee project execution and mentor team members · Provide quality solutions/applications, evaluate technologies and provide reference implementations · Understand business requirements and make technical design decisions that fulfill them · Ensure compliance with PCI, SDLC and all other Staples systems management policies · Ensure technical design reviews and code reviews are performed for projects · Serve as an escalation point for technical design decisions within the context of project scope · Work with Business Analysts, Business Owners, QM Analysts, and Application Support Teams to understand all stakeholder requirements · Embrace, recommend and apply new technologies as needed *Required Skills* · 5+ years’ of related technical experience · 5+ years’ experience developing enterprise level applications · 5+ years’ experience with Object oriented development using Java · 4+ years’ experience with iOS development · Understanding of Java design patterns · 6+ years’ experience with Spring Framework, Tomcat, Apache, JSP or PHP · 3+ years’ of experience with website development across jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS, WebKit, web service stacks, REST and/or SOAP · Able to provide thorough test coverage using JUnit and mocking frameworks · Be open minded and current with the latest technologies *Best Regards,* *Samir Mondal* *Executive Talent Acquition* *T: 248.565.4747* 130* * Email/**Gtalk**: smon...@tekshapers.com <smon...@tekshapers.com>* *www.tekshapers.com <http://www.tekshapers.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
