*Position :: DevOps Engineer* *Location: South Portland ME, Portsmouth NH or Wilton CT - with some remote work as well* *Duration: 6-12 Months* *Interview: Phone and Skype* *DevOps Engineer * *Summary:* We are seeking a DevOps Engineer that can thrive in a challenging and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, motivated and able to work in a very fast paced SaaS environment. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for operating, administering, configuring and maintaining all enterprise Web and Application environments across LOB’s with a strong focus on automation. Activities include defining and executing ongoing administration and application performance maintenance, procedures, and operations; problem diagnosis and resolution; participating in after-hours on-call rotation; as well as project support. The candidate will work closely with the database, system administration and development teams to provide application expertise for highly integrated ASP and Web platforms. *Required Qualifications:* The candidate must have three to five years of experience in the following areas: · Experience with Java application servers (Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat) · Experience with web server (Apache, IIS) and SSL Certificate management · Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Bash, Ruby, Python) · Code deployment and related tools like Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, Capistrano, RPM · Familiarity with SQL scripting · Experience with Linux and MS Windows Server operating systems, comfortable on a Linux command line · Understanding of fundamental security principles for network traffic and third-party software · Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NFS, Windows 2003/2008 domains, TCP/IP, SMTP, IIS, SSL, Internet Infrastructure, and IP informational tools · Problem triage/solving skills and ability to work independently in order to solve problems quickly and automate processes · Excellent communication (written and oral), documentation and organizational skills · Team player attitude and work ethic *Some of the technologies used at client location and are strong pluses include the following: * · Configuration and setup of enterprise monitoring and alerting infrastructures like SolarWinds, OEM · Red Hat Linux Enterprise Server, 6+ · CloudBolt, Infoblox, vCAC, vSphere · Oracle, DB2, SQL and Informix database Required Background and Skills · Three to five years of previous DevOps experience · Two year degree in computer science related field or equivalent work experience · General programming skills for automation of administrative actions *Best Regards,* *Samir Mondal* *Executive Talent Acquition* *T: 248.565.4747* 130* * Email/**Gtalk**: smon...@tekshapers.com <smon...@tekshapers.com>* *www.tekshapers.com <http://www.tekshapers.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
