*Position : VM Engineer <www2.jobdiva.com/employers/open_rfq.jsp?rfqid=6441828>* Location : Greenwood Village, CO Duration : 6+ Months *Responsibilities* As a lead virtualization engineer you will be responsible for: • Being a SME in the core VMware product suite and confident in your knowledge and experience • Identifying and executing on opportunities for automation and efficiencies in operational activity • Help develop the product release process to ensure the smoothest transition from environment engineering team to the application platform and deployment teams • Maintain a culture of continual service improvement across the team and interfacing organizational elements *Qualifications* *• 7+ years experience in interfacing technologies such as networking, storage, virtualization, applications and data centre technologies* *• 5+ years experience of hardware and server operating systems with a focus on ESX* *• 3+ years experience supporting the VMware product set e.g. vSphere, vCAC, vCM, vCO and vCOPs, VCP or equivalent industry certifications and/or knowledge* *• 3+ years of Linux experience* *• Scripting skills – bash, perl* *• Experience of data analysis and the use of asset inventory management systems across a large and complex server estate (100's)* *• An understanding of ITIL concepts (foundation knowledge or above) and the ability to engage with Banking established incident, problem and change management processes and procedures* *• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience* *• Ability to perform in a highly pressurized and changing work environment.* *Position : Automation Engineer* Location : Greenwood Village, CO Duration : 6+ Months *Position Description: **Exceptional application analysis and design skills, as well as thorough trouble-shooting capabilities. Responsible for heavy Ruby and shell script programming using either Bash, 'C' or Korn shell. Create linux-based deploy and automation scripts that are fault tolerant, step restartable, and reusable using Chef.* *Experience Level:** 6-10 Years. * *Skill Set:** Linux, job processing, Security and control concepts.
