Demonstrated experience with improving the operational reliability of a system, such as enhancing operational features, metrics-based reporting and trending, alerting, and security access controls. Demonstrated proficiency in at least two mainstream scripting languages, e.g. UNIX shell script, Windows command script, Python, Perl, etc. Very strong Unix knowledge and troubleshooting skills Willingness to learn new skills & technologies, attend training seminars, and keep abreast of changing technologies for supported applications. Demonstrated knowledge of SQL. Proficient knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Able to develop and transition test plans to internal SDO QA organization. Experience in creating project schedules, milestone goals, and task lists. Able to effectively work with end users to collect and accurately document requirements for IT management to review and sign-off.
