MS BI Architect Toledo, OH 6 months Interview: Phone Responsibilities: • Perform detailed data survey and analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples). • Ability to interpret, enhance, and create complex/nested T-SQL and MDX queries. • Develop, test, and deploy OLAP cubes • Create data models and OLAP cubes from both requirements and sample flat files. • Ability to interface and communicate with end users on a daily basis. • Ability to create, modify, and maintain calculated measures and KPIs. • Ability to create moderate to high complexity reports in SSRS. • Support and create reports in PowerBI/Powerview • Familiar with and can support Master Data Services (MDS) Qualifications: • 5+ years experience developing business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft BI platform in a data warehousing environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, related field, or relevant multi-year experience. Experience and expertise in the following technologies: • SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). • SQL Server DBMS (SQL Server). • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). • SQL Server Master Data Services (MDS) • PowerBI Exposure and competency in the following: • MS Access 2007 (or later versions). • Excel 2007 (or later versions). • Knowledge of dimensional modeling, including applicability to various reporting problems. • Full Life Cycle Experience in Model, Design, Development of Data warehouse/ETL/BI Solutions. • Database maintenance, design, and setup. Plus: • MS Sharepoint 2010 (or later versions). • Agile Software Development (Scrum, XP, Agile UP, etc) or the strong desire to learn the methodology.
