*JOB PURPOSE:* Responsible for assisting the Information Security Lead with the overall development and management of enterprise information security areas including: host, client, mobile, and network systems; internal and external access control lists; intrusion detection and prevention; electronic data protection; and evolving threats. Provides information security consultation to project team members and ensures that information security best practices are adhered to. 1. Analyzes current enterprise information security systems and reports all suspicious activity. Requires use of a personal computer. 2. Works with the Information Security Lead to maintain the information security response plan and enterprise information security policies and procedures 3. Operates in an unbiased manner, maintaining confidentiality and integrity with all information security events. 4. Works directly with the Information Security Lead and other systems administrators on information security issues. Provides information security consulting services to the ITS technology groups including but not limited to Solution Architects, Developers, Quality Analysis, iTechnology. Participates and advises during ITS project security reviews as required. 5. Works with Information Security team to perform information security risk assessments and serves as an internal analyst for security issues. 6. Responsible for penetration testing and vulnerability management; provides accurate and timely reporting; escalates issues to management. 7. Responsible for validation of application security testing. Work with application managers to ensure that secure coding standards are followed and appropriate security testing is performed. 8. Uses the Internet and other similar information collection methods to stay current with the latest information security threats and mitigation techniques. 9. Responsible for the communication/escalation of identified vulnerabilities as well as tracking and reporting of associated remediation. 10. Responsible for assisting with creating, supporting and training personnel on information security issues. 11. Works with the Information Security Lead and Information Security Officer during PCI and Internal Audits by providing required evidence as needed. *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* *Knowledge -* Requires thorough knowledge of information security practices and technologies; ability to speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal and external relations; understand extremely complex verbal or written instructions; understand information security issues dealing with computer hardware, software, and infrastructure; knowledge ordinarily acquired through attainment of a Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems plus 5 years of progressive information security privacy and/or compliance experience required. Information security certification preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
