*Job Title: Business Analyst* *Location: New York, NY (Need Locals)* *Duration : 3+ Months* *Interview : F2F Interview* *Required Skills:* At least 2 years experience gathering and documenting functional requirements for technology projects Demonstration of a developed understanding and interest in internet technologies and browser-based computing Very strong technology background with good understanding of application development/methodologies Must be skilled in creating business requirements and functional requirements specifications (use cases/stories), business rules, and identify user interface requirements Must have hands-on experience in Microsoft Visio *Desirable Skill* Must be able to work in cross functional teams where knowledge of networks, experience developing and managing MS SQL Reporting Services, Integration Services, Analysis Services or SharePoint solutions is a plus. Knowledge of technology especially web based applications (.net), technical design and system infrastructure. Experience in designing and building applications using ASP.net, Silverlight, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, LINQ and Microsoft Communication Framework, web services, SOA architecture, XML and XSLT. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Excellent analytic, organization, presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Ability to interface with executive level management and give senior level presentations. Experience working with technical and non-technical staff.
