MRC is used for scheduling, collaborating, and authorizing shipment of direct material with Caterpillar suppliers. Work in a team environment to enable high system performance and stability, along with communicating and working with facilities and our Business Process Partner on facility implementations and system releases. *Skill/Role Level Years Preference * *Java Expert 5.0 Required * Communication Expert 5.0 Required *SQL (Structured Query Language) Intermediate 3.0 Preferred * *Hibernate Intermediate 3.0 Preferred * *JavaScript Intermediate 3.0 Preferred* ∙ Experience supporting and/or enhancing distributed applications. ∙ Experience with *Unix including scripting and commands. * ∙ SQL Language experience with any of the following databases: *ORACLE, UDB, DB2.* ∙ Strong in the following categories: Communication, teamwork, initiative, customer focus, planning, analysis and design of systems. ∙ Highly engaged individual willing to learn, support and develop supply chain capabilities using a distributed technology skill set in a team environment ∙ Knowledge in any of the following: *Informatica (data transformation/integration), Tidal (Enterprise Scheduler), Websphere.* ∙ *Java and/or Distributed Programming knowledge (C++ for example)* ∙ *Experience and/or knowledge of general supply chain business functions* ∙ College degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and/or 1-2 years Application Development experience.
