Role: .Net Developer/GIS Developer Location: NY Duration: Around 3 months SCOPE OF SERVICES: NYC DOHMH DIITT is developing a web and mobile based mapping application that allows for users to interact with multiple map layers, create unique spatial areas of interest, and collect geo-located data through a web based and mobile device with offline functionality. DIITT is seeking a GIS Developer to implement enhancements to the application. Enhancements to the mapping application include the ability for: (1) This application must work in conjunction with previously built tools and additional tools that are being built or planned concurrently. (2) These tools will take into account multiple data sources and platforms and may require users to be able to query, symbolize, customize, print and share maps and geographic data. (3) The application will also have a data visualization component that will allow users to perform data analysis with application data combined with other data sources and interactively visualize the results. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • Experience integrating .NET with ESRI ArcGIS Javascript API, DOJO Framework, and ArcGIS SOAP/REST Web services to develop Web and Mobile based mapping applications • ASP.Net MVC framework 4/5 • C# and ASP.Net development – should have full lifecycle multitier web-based application development experience. • SQL / TSQL development (minimum 3 years) – should have recent experience with SQL Server 2008/2012 and experience using SQL Server Spatial Data.
