   - *experience in sql (sybase and oracle databases) required*


   - strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills
   - domain knowledge in oracle and java programming languages is a plus
   - understanding of the overall trade lifecycle
   - strong verbal and written communication skills
   - advanced in office 2003/2010 – specifically excel (macros and vba in
   general)
   - understanding of the sdlc workflow is a plus

this is a lead ba who will work closely with the trading desk and serve as
a lead to onshore and offshore teams.  must a strong fi background and is
polished enough to work directly with portfolio managers and traders (high
pressure), have a good attitude and a tolerant disposition (traders can be
high-maintenance!).

·     the candidate will be seated directly on the boston cash and fixed
income desk and will be part of the front line of support for any issues or
enhancements reported by the business community.

·     the candidate *should have a good understanding of the various
financial asset classes and be able to understand business workflows and
lingos*.

·     gathers requirements for new development efforts, bug fixes, and
ongoing support requests

·     work closely with business stakeholders in various portfolio
management, trading, operations, and risk areas at ssga.

·     collaborate with other it employees and contractors internal to the
team as well as in the various infrastructure roles as required by the
project

·     ability to multitask and meet deadlines while remaining flexible
toward unexpected changes

·     absolute attention to detail and high degree of accuracy when working
under pressure

·     thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to manage
multiple tasks / projects at one
