 *Primary Job Responsibility:*



• Participate in Active Directory domain consolidation and retirement
projects, including identification of domain dependencies, and working with
application and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve authentication
issues and roadblocks.

•  Assist with application integrations to Active Directory, providing
knowledge and support for authentication configurations and issues

• Support Active Directory infrastructure and advanced functionality
(replication, performance, GPOs etc.)

• Resolve incidents and fulfil end user requests related to Active
Directory, including SPNs, GPOs, DFS, Kerberos delegation, authentication
issues, etc.

Requirements

• 4 year degree or equivalent technical experience

• 4+ years of experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows Server and
network technologies and Active Directory



*Preferred Qualifications*



• Proven ability and experience creating complex scripts using PowerShell

• Proven ability and experience using common Active Directory tools
(DSQuery, ADSI edt, LDIF, LDAP tools, etc.)

• Proven ability and experience troubleshooting authentication issues
related to Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP and DNS

• Experience supporting Dell Software tools (InTrust, ChangeAuditor,
Recovery Manager) related to analyzing and meeting security and audit
requirements.



*Must have Skills:*



The Active Directory Operations Engineer is a member of the Enterprise
Active Directory team and is responsible for supporting the operations of
multiple Enterprise-class Active Directory Forests. Areas of responsibility
include: support applications and domain migrations of Acquired Entities
into managed support models, focusing on retirement of Active Directory
domains, Authentication assistance and troubleshooting (Kerberos, LDAP,
etc. through domain trust models). Support active directory advanced
functionality (replication, FRS and DFS-R, GPOs, etc.) and end user
incident resolution and request fulfilment. The ideal candidate will
demonstrate past experience with domain migrations, application
integrations to Active Directory, understand and troubleshoot
authentication protocols, experience with Windows Server and Linux
operating systems, familiarity with PowerShell scripting, be self-motivated
and able to work independently with little supervision, and possess strong
and effective verbal and written communication skills
