SQA Analyst Location: Culver City,CA Duration: 6+ Months Duties Executes test scripts for complex and broadly used product capabilities and components. Analyzes and enters the defects found into the Symantec defect tracking system. Works with developers to help troubleshoot defects. Identifies, analyzes, and communicates issues with the products/components being tested. Demonstrates knowledge, proficiency, and practical application of SQA concepts, methods, and tools. Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of Windows 2000/XP/Vista. Identifies gaps and deficiencies in existing test plans, test scripts, and test cases, and effectively extends test plans where necessary. Analyzes and reports test results and testing status. Organizes and executes tasks and overall workload based on team goals and priorities. Demonstrates an understanding of all facets of software product testing and quality measurement including awareness of generally available and accepted solutions that apply to each facet. Analyzes functional requirements and specifications, identifies gaps in the defined requirements and specifications, and defines a test plan to ensure that the defined requirements and specifications are fully met. Develops and maintains test scripts and test cases. Skills: Proven track record of identifying and isolating complex issues in software products and their components. Demonstrably strong work ethic and willingness to go beyond the immediate call of duty.
