*Please share the profile at [email protected] <[email protected]> * *Position: QA automation consultant* *Location: St. Paul, MN* *Duration: 6 Months* *Looking for local candidates only* MNsure project already begun • Projected Transaction Start Date: March 23, 2015 • Projected Transaction End Date: December 31, 2015 Request Number: RFO0039 Request Title: MNsure Quality Assurance - Automation Request Description: MN.IT @ DHS is issuing this Request for Offers (RFO) to secure a Quality Assurance Automation Analyst resource with strong experience testing in large and complex systems development projects. This Quality Assurance Automation Analyst is needed to bring several active, high visibility projects to successful completion, to enable the MNsure technical solution to be deployed and fully operational. The Quality Assurance Automation Analyst will be responsible for performing all testing activities for the MNsure IT portfolio of projects. These will include several cross-agency projects with key collaborators from MNsure, MN.IT @ DHS and the Department of Human Services (DHS). Total value of the portfolio of projects being impacted is over $50 million dollars. Responsibilities Expected of the Selected Consultant Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Work with the appropriate resources to define and write Functional and Technical Testable Requirements (Waterfall) and/or User Stories and Acceptance Criteria (Agile). • Work with the QA Supervisor and/or QA Lead to create the Level of Effort (LOE) estimate for all testing activities within the project. • Work with the QA Supervisor and/or QA Lead to create the Test Strategy. • Work with the QA Supervisor and/or QA Lead to create the Test Plan. • Work with Business Analyst, Developers, and DBA’s in defining detailed and reusable Functional, System Integration, and Regression test cases. • Write detailed and reusable Functional, System Integration, and Regression Test Cases. • Assist the Performance Engineer in determining business flows to be scripted and utilized in Performance/Load testing. • Create Automated Test Scripts • Execute Automated Test Scripts • Document all defects in the defect tracking tool in an accurate and timely manner. • Escalate all challenges to the appropriate resource(s) in a timely manner. • Communicate effectively both verbally and written. • Attend the Defect Review meetings. • Transfer knowledge to MN.IT @ DHS staff. Required Skills (to be scored as pass/fail) The following skills are required for resource(s) being submitted.
