Please send your available matching candidates on [email protected] Role: C#.Net Developer Location: New York, NY Duration: 9+ Month Interview : F2F Start : ASAP Local candidate preferred Responsibilities: · The consultant will be responsible for developing applications and utilities within a larger .NET solution used to support Customer Service Call Center functions. · The assignment will involve working with business users to obtain requirements, extracting business logic from legacy programs in VB6 code, and developing new solutions using C#, WPF, MVC and MVVM technologies within an application framework. · The candidate will also be responsible for performing system testing, and documentation of the newly developed applications. Applicants should be proficient in Visual Studio 2012, C#, XAML, WPF, SQL Server Database development, and the MVC and MVVM design patterns. · The candidate will work within a development team assigned to the project. Skills & Requirements · The successful candidate should be strong technically, have excellent communication skills, be able to work within a team environment, and have at least 4 years of experience with the skill set/qualifications described below. o Is an established senior developer/designer o Strong .NET C# development skills o Strong WPF client development experience using XAML to design front end systems - a must o Strong Web API and REST based development experience o Strong design abilities to construct highly functional GUI front ends o Strong JSON development experience o Strong understanding of multi-tiered application architectures o Strong understanding of web services architecture o Excellent communication skills o Excellent documenting skills to create weekly summaries, support documentation, flow charts, process charts, and presentation slides o Excellent understanding of data structures, tables and stored procedures o Experienced in using VS2012 TEST solution to build regression test cases o Experienced in developing server side application using standard MVC design patterns o Experienced in developing client side application using standard MVVM design patterns o Is able to read and interpret VB6 code o Is able to host lectures to conduct knowledge transfer sessions of various technical topics to rest of the team o Is able and self –sufficient to travel to different corporate locations a few times a month (Brooklyn/Westchester) o Is able to effectively host user meetings at offsite locations o Is able to effectively communicate with users to clarify requirements and challenge their needs o Is a strong listener and can adapt quickly to change · The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate. · Experience with mobile development is a plus.
