The primary objective of this position is to provide the technical skills required to implement, maintain, and upgrade this and other related product for use by the business. - This product engineer will bring a deep technical and capabilities knowledge to support our clients Security Architect, Vulnerability Management program, and the Product Manager - Expertise in antivirus/anti-malware products such as McAfee ePO (to include anti-virus, file integrity monitoring), Symantec Endpoint protection, and TrendMicro - Ability to identify and translate malware threats and planning mitigation into antivirus/anti-malware policy rules - Ability to work with Security Operations and Infrastructure teams to ensure integration of antivirus/anti-malware alerts with monitoring and logging systems - Create and modify policies and procedures for modifications to the antivirus/anti-malware applications/tools - Ability to architect and engineer antivirus/anti-malware solutions (for desktops and servers) in both lab and production environments - Ability to rack, stack, and configure antivirus/anti-malware systems - Tier 3 trouble shooting and analysis - Big Picture Engineering support of users, groups, security domains, business processes that could be exposed to malware threats. Required Skills: - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required - Must have 5+ years technical experience in IT security with McAfee A/V and File Integrity Monitoring - Technical expertise in file integrity monitoring and configuration management - Minimum of 5 years professional experience in the following technical areas: - Internet and networking technologies – DNS and TCP/IP in a diverse enterprise environment to include Linux, Windows and Mac endpoints - Operating systems and user administration - Unix, Linux, Windows and Mac - Web server and browser admin and configuration - LDAP and Active Directory - SANS Security and CISSP certification preferred - Very proficient in Visio, Excel, Access, and SQL - Act with principle - perform duties with integrity and ethically - Keep our customers first.
