*Please share the profile at [email protected] <[email protected]> * *Role: Network Engineer* *Duration: 6 months* *Location: Cleveland, OH * *Location: Cleveland, OH only local!!!!* Overview: This Engineer is responsible for the installation and overall deployment of route/switch based projects for our customers. This involves both off-site prep work as well as customer on-site implementations. The engineer will be engaged both through a formal project process as well as through service tickets. Responsibilities: • The Network Sr Engineer Lead is responsible for planning, designing, configuring, deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining all data networks • Researches options and performs vendor comparisons to develop cost estimates for recommendations of product and service purchases to management along with proposed allocation/chargeback methodology. • Responsible for troubleshooting LAN/WAN/WLAN problems at local and remote sites. Conducts analysis of outages. Demonstrates initiative for process improvement and problem ownership. • High level support for Service Desk escalated trouble tickets. • Works with IT team members regarding Firewall and network management required to ensure system customer/supplier access to applications as necessary. • Implements configuration changes and hardware additions/replacements to LAN/WLAN/WLAN. • Optimizes connections to servers and desktops utilizing software and hardware solutions. • Uses punch down tools for Layer-One support. • Oversees vendor management and contract fulfillment. • Other projects as assigned. • Day to day break/fix and tickets • Some Firewall experience • VPN Configuration (or at least troubleshooting) • Riverbed preferred • Solid understanding of Cisco Networks; CCNA Required CCNP preferred • Solid understanding of Routers, Switches and Firewalls. • Solid understanding of LAN administration tasks (i.e. user administration, back-ups, etc.). • Good understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP file and print services. • Strong troubleshooting skills related to network hardware and carrier services. • Must possess excellent communication skills including great customer focus. • Strong ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to end users and management. • Ability to maintain a high level of business professionalism. • Self motivation and the ability to manage multiple priorities along with a strong work ethic required. *Thanks and Regards* *Arvind Nagar* *Email- **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Direct-408-457-9381 Ext-4008 !!
