Blue Cross of TX. *Richardson, TX* Phone interview and f2f is a must.., prefer locals please *JP1578 Business Analyst* *Contract- March 2016* *Job description:* · This position is responsible for functions on projects of moderate to high complexity by working with business partners within multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies · eliciting, documenting, and refining business requirements for the IT organization · serving as a liaison across multiple facets of the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs; leveraging an informed knowledge of business areas to identify and/or resolve problems on an ongoing basis. · This role may perform one or more of the following functions · The exact nature of the role is dependent on each projects need. · This role may support one or many enterprise driven initiatives. *Business Analyst Lead/Coordinator * · Responsible for the overall management of business analyst resource activities at a program/project level, including: resource allocation, tactical operations, team collaboration, analytical and strategic approaches, and technology considerations. *Business Analyst * · Responsible for overall business and system requirement deliverable for program/project · defines and manages a set of customer/stakeholder requirements throughout the SDLC. · Manages Requirement Traceability · responsible for traceability across the project life-cycle, tracking requirements status, managing changes to requirements and versions of requirement specifications, and tracing individual requirements to other project phases and work products. · Primary work products: • Current and Future State Analysis • Business Requirements Specifications • System Requirements Specification • Traceability Matrix *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Be the primary stakeholder liaison for elicitation & analysis of requirements deliverable. 2. Work with business partners within multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies; participate in formulating and defining system solutions and objectives, based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business processes. 3. Elicit business, user, functional, and system requirements using appropriate documentation techniques to describe statements of the goals, objectives, or needs of a particular stakeholder or group of stakeholders (on projects of high complexity). 4. Translate and document each requirement type in the appropriate manner for business approval and technology consumption; manage changes to such specifications through the project life-cycle.. 5. Provide traceability across the project life-cycle, tracking requirements status, managing changes to requirements and versions of requirement specifications, and tracing individual requirements to other project phases and work products. 6.
