*Job Title: Web/ Mobile QA Team Lead* *Location: Costa Mesa, CA* *Duration: 6 Months+* *PRIMARY DUTIES:* * Responsible for reviewing the change logs/Bug fixes and prepare accurate test runs for the team to execute test cases on each build that is released to QA * Test Team Leader for a major mobile and web application and mapping product line coordinating test-related activities. * Represent test in coordination between engineering, project management product management and product quality management groups * Coordinate test activities across along with checking test case execution on web and mobile version. * Responsible for reviewing new requirement and UI flows while preparing new test case scenarios. * Responsible for testing mobile and web applications to ensure they meet design specifications. * Review Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and System Design Specifications (SDSs) for testability. * Develop test plans and test cases and provide test results and reports. * Perform review of test plans, test cases and test results. * Manage the defect tracking process for the project and ensure disposition on all known defects. * Participate in production deployment testing necessary. *SKILLS REQUIRED:* * Extensive experience in the design and implementation of formal testing methodologies and practices in a fast-paced software development company * Experience using automated workflow and project management/ collaboration tools * Experience managing test resources performing regression, performance and system testing. * Strong understanding of Web site information architecture, navigation, and content strategy. * Experience with testing mobile and web applications. * Experience in defining and building automated software testing tools and techniques is desired. * Able to work in a fast-paced, iterative programming environment * Strong experience in mobile and web as well as analytical and trouble-shooting skills. * Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently and in a team environment. *EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:* *Specific & Strong Experience with more than three of the following areas:* * 3-5 years test leadership experience in a commercial software development environment across the full product lifecycle. * 5-7 years in Web QA/ Testing environment required. * Experience using automated QA Testing experience using Open Source tools. * Highly organized and capable of working on simultaneous projects to meet tight deadlines * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Organized, detail-oriented, accurate and thorough. * Desire to engage in challenging assignments * BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline. ** *Thanks* *Chris* [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
