Candidates with the required skills marked as “a plus” will be reviewed 1st.* *Summary* The *CONTRACT JAVA / J2EE Developer* will be instrumental in enhancing and creating Java/J2EE Applications. He/she will be a versatile experienced developer. He/she will be working on interesting projects with fast-moving deadlines in a typical startup environment. The Contract J2EE Developer will also be responsible for QC, documentation, production support/troubleshooting, and the release of multiple products. *Tasks & Activities* - Works closely with the Sr. Technology Manager or leads and develops software solutions based on the given requirements. - Designs, Develops, Tests and Maintains J2EE applications. - Works with project managers and ensures that all milestones and targets in a project are met. - Enhances/Develops/Integrates/maintains/oversees existing tools and outsourced software in the overall product architecture. - Architects, Designs, and Develops Java/J2EE applications. - Investigates and resolves any production bugs. - Works with distributed teams for ongoing development. - Participates in daily team scrums. - Develops automated unit tests of source code. - Works collaboratively with peers and other teams like QA, PMO and Business Analysts. - Provides technical estimates to requirements. - Provides solutions to requirements presented by the Business Analysts. *Requirements* - BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field. - 8 to 10 years of practical experience highly preferred, including responsibility as lead developer on the presentation layer of an enterprise software product or service. - Must be able to work independently and provide status on projects. - Proficiency with Java, J2EE, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JQuery programming. - Broad background in web application architectures. - Recent project experience with Web Services (SOAP, XML-RPC, REST) and Spring/Struts/Hibernate. - Experience with JBoss Application Server and MySQL database. - Development experience on a Unix/Linux platform. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work and deliver in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to build strong relationships with teammates and clients. - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Experience with Scala, Groovy, Grails a plus. - Experience with JUnit, JMock, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and automated regression testing a plus. - Working knowledge of JSR-168 portal standard, WSRP, and open source solutions (e.g., Liferay, Mamba, Drupal, Zope, Plone, DotNetNuke, Wikimedia) a plus. - Ant and Cruise Control experience a plus. *Best Regards* *Ankit kumar Sagwal* *IDC Technologies Inc.* *E-mail: [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Phone: 408-457-9381 Ext. 4030* *GTalk: ankit121.rgtalent* *Ymgr: ankit_sagwal* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
