*Please share the profile at [email protected] <[email protected]> * *Job Title: Sr. UNIX Admin* *Location: Winston-Salem, NC * *Duration: 8 Months + (High Possibility of Extension)* (LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE PREFFERED BUT NOT REQUIRED) Duration: 8 Months + (High Possibility of Extension) • Perform Admin functions as well as Identify and apply patches and configuration hardening to the prod/non-prod AIX environments. • Off hours will be required as patches are deployed after normal standard working hours. • Adherence to process to ensure that application of patch will not impact production environment • Modify, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot existing systems. • Analyze and resolve operating systems and applications issues on various systems. • Generate and maintain reports and documentation. • Perform recovery of hardware and software. • Coordinate resource usage in a large production environment to facilitate process efficiency and project turnover. • Provide consultation and guidance to management and end users regarding the planning of future additions, modifications, and site developments. • Serve as subject matter expert in technical issues. • Review standards for hardware, software, and applications to ensure compliance with strategic direction.
