The AS/400 / iSeries Programmer Analyst is responsible for the maintenance
and support of software systems as well as the development of new features
and functionality to support business requirements and growth.  This
position will design, code, test, debug, and document applications and
systems. Responsibilities include hands-on programming, working with other
RPG developers, establishing time lines, QA/testing, etc. The successful
candidate should have the interpersonal skills to interact with all levels
of the organization.


*Requirements/Skills:*

   - Work with development team and/or business users in the development
   and maintenance of business system applications using RPG, ILE and CL in an
   IBM iSeries (AS/400) environment
   - Ability to work with team members to understand the business
   requirements and assist with the development of effective solutions to meet
   business needs
   - Must possess five (5+) years of experience with the IBM iSeries
   (AS/400), RPG/400, ILE and CL


*Job Responsibilities:*

   - Provide quality application solutions with a high degree of customer
   service
   - Analyze requirements and determine how it will affect new or existing
   systems
   - Maintain application design specifications
   - Analyze and resolve production issues in existing programs
   - Use programming and analytical skills to create programs/perform
   changes to enhance the system
   - Perform testing of all fixes, changes, additions and enhancements to
   any application system
   - Ability to handle a variety of tasks at one time and use time
   effectively to complete tasks within the established time frame
   - Design, code, and test systems solutions based on requirement
   specifications
   - Maintain system documentation, both within the code and within
   technical design documents, to enable ease of analysis for future
   development
   - Maintain a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for
   others
   - Self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
   - Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
