Please read through those carefully.* *Only Local * *EAD,GC, USC Only* *UI Specialist Position* Location: Milwaukee, WI Duration: 12 months *MUST HAVE:* *HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, OAuth2, RESTful services* *Must be able to second interview in Milwaukee, WI, Only local!!!!!!!!!!* *Must be EAD, GC, US Citizen * Demonstrated experience building accessibility into UI implementations for visually impaired customers Contractor will report in at an architecture level A User Interface Specialist (UI Specialist) is responsible for guiding the Application Development team through all aspects of client-side application development. Ensures development is being done right the first time. Success is measured on production stability and the ability to minimize re-work required during the project life cycle and after production implementation. Collaborates with UI Designers to translate design ideas into implementations and architectures. Makes technical recommendations and decisions that satisfy business requirements based on the product roadmap/vision. Establishes a coherent architecture vision of how software frameworks and libraries will be applied to best address current and expected future user interface needs. Collaborates with Application Architects to fit UI solutions into overall product line architecture. Continuously communicates the vision in an audience-appropriate manner, both internally and externally, from developers and designers to business owners and customers. Makes recommendations based upon this vision and associated analysis in order to satisfy tactical, operational, and strategic needs. Ensures lead developers and designers are familiar with application, software and technology assets, standards, and requirements along with software development best practices. Assists in the identification of patterns, techniques, tools, and processes that contribute to effective project execution and business-unit profitability. -General Duties & Responsibilities- • Documents and publishes appropriate architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, patterns and frameworks. • Defines and maintains a library of UI component models within assigned product lines. • Documents product UI solutions for key product strategy and product management initiatives leveraging defined product line architecture roadmap. • Reviews functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements. • Documents and communicates opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use, and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption. • Communicates system UI architecture to technical and business audiences. • Works collaboratively with other technical staff in diagnosing and resolving issues. • Performs other related duties as required. -Additional Requirements- • Requires the following experience or equivalent combination of education and experience as a minimum: – Must have led the technology direction for multiple projects and led or presented architecture concepts outside the realm of immediate workgroup – Five or more years demonstrated senior level experience in working with the following technologies: HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, OAuth2, RESTful services – Successful design and implementation of applications in a shared service bureau environment – Demonstrated experience building accessibility into UI implementations • Strong ability to communicate, both written and verbal in English. -General Knowledge, Skills & Experience- • Knowledge of financial services industry • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (including waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development) • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc. • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors) • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills • Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take • Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external customers and contacts • Willingly and successfully fulfills the role of teacher, mentor and coach • Exhibits a strong understanding of client-side Model-View-Controller design patterns for web applications • Exhibits fluency in developing and understanding sequence diagrams, class models, etc. • Requires in-depth knowledge of networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, middleware, network and systems management, and related infrastructure technologies and practices • Experience working collaboratively with dedicated, in-house, UI designers. • Experience designing for tablet Web delivery. • Experience developing for an ASP product with significant branding and configuration options. *Best Regards* *Ankit kumar Sagwal* *IDC Technologies Inc.* *E-mail: [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Phone: 408-457-9381 Ext. 4030* *GTalk: ankit121.rgtalent* *Ymgr: ankit_sagwal* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
