Storage – Hitachi VSP 2. HP Blades & Enclosures 3. Virtualization 4. RedHat Linux 5. Client in San Antonio, TX 78229 has an immediate opening for a MULTI YEAR CONTRACT for a Storage Administrator / Storage Engineer who has Hardware System Administrator / Hardware Systems Engineer experience. Rate is dependent on experience. Client would prefer candidates currently in Texas but will consider out of state candidates and interview via skype. A minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience is required, with at least 2-3 years in large scale server support. 5 most important skills are 1. Hitachi VSP 2. HP Blades and Enclosures 3. RedHat Linux 4. VMWare 5. Scripting High skill level and experience is required for the following: Server support experience, including blades and enclosures (preferred platform: HP). SAN switch experience. Enterprise Hitachi VSP storage Medium skill level and experience is required for the following: VMware system administration experience (preferred Version 5.x). OS System Administration Skills (both Red Hat Linux and Windows). Network Administration Experience (related to firewalls, LAN, DNS, etc.) Low skill level and experience is required for the following: Scripting experience.
