Title: ServiceNow Developer Duration: 6 - 12 months Location: Richardson, TX Tax Terms: C2C Responsible for developing and managing application code, user interface, and third-party integration components in all stages of the CMDB development projects (i.e. definition, development, deployment) Manage development of solutions to migrate and/or integrate disparate data to an enterprise CMDB solution Work with the Data Architect and the DBA in ensuring that enterprise architecture standards and policies are met Participate in design, code, test reviews cycles Ensures project scope and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters Build web content on ServiceNow Platform Provide detailed architecture analysis and design, and direction on the development activities Perform ServiceNow implementation tasks including but not limited to: configuration, integration, custom programming Develop and document best practice approaches and reusable assets Document technical architectures that could be clearly understood and immediately used by developers to construct code and unit test Participate in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Training, and Operational Support Use SCRUM/Agile development methodology Familiar with common web-technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jelly Excellent problem solving skills with a strong technical knowledge, communication and good interpersonal skills. Technical Responsibilities: Functional Demonstrated experience working with business partners to interpret requirements and deliver software solutions based on them Documentation of solution architecture and supporting business processes Effective documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong team player Technical Experience using ServiceNow CMDB solution Minimum of 3 years of progressive development experience 5 years experience in UI design using JavaScript, HTML, CSS. HTML5/CSS3 experience a plus. 3+ years of experience developing software in Python A solid understanding of REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML (Web Services), HTTP Request Methods Must have proficiency in Excel Marcos Desired Experience ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITIL Certification jelly Scripting CMDB (configuration management database) and Asset Management knowledge Import sets and data transformation Additional Qualifications: ServiceNow Sys Admin experience, importing, web services, discovery, and Crystal Reports Strong knowledge of Agile Software development methodologies, design and architectural patterns.
