*Job Title: Technical Release Manager Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration: 12 Months* *Client: HCSC* *Interview: Phone + F2F* Job Description: *Technical Release Manager* This position is responsible for managing a matrixed team that analyzes requirements, designs, develops, tests, and implements major data releases and initiatives, coordinating across technologies, and as appropriate, manages relationships between the Information Management and Analytics Department and internal/external client organizations. Position includes management of department/project budgets, workload balancing and developing strategies and processes, and understanding the technical components of a variety of data repositories, and leading process improvement projects. *MUST HAVES* · 10 years of IT work experience · 5+years experience in release management o Strong experience managing releases in a Data Warehouse environment · Strong experience managing data projects and Data Warehouse projects · Proficient in the use of project management, spreadsheet and database query tools · Has subject matter expertise in release management process · Experience in the financial industry · Recognized as an expert · Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements · Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business · Contributes to the development of functional strategy · Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
