Initial requirement is to support evening and night shifts · Provide the first line of defense for field issues. Run the basic problem isolation drill and escalate the issue to T3 if required · Act as the coordinator during the process of troubleshooting. Maintain a conference bridge, remote connectivity where T3 support can gather more information · Facilitate the gathering of requested information to T3 support, or vendors *Skills:* 1. Conversant with Linux Operating system, commands usage. 2. Experience in Network configuration options/commands (TCP/IP) - trace route, ping 3. Hands-on Scripting : shell, awk, perl a. Ability to automate tasks , for instance : schedule / draw reports out of Web Services logs b. Desirable : programming in Java as these Applications are Java on Apache on Linux. 4. Applications to be supported are based on advanced Web Services a. Knowledge about HTTP, REST APIs, SOAP/XML 5. Good Communication Skills - both verbal and written 6. High Level of confidence, Analytical skills 7.
