The client is seeking a contractor to technical development services for the client’s PeopleSoft Human Capital Management application.

*PROGRAM/PROJECT BACKGROUND***

• The objective of this program is to identify, scope, implement, test and deploy new functionality to the PeopleSoft HCM system.

• Such projects can be initiated by any of the PeopleSoft HCM stakeholders.

• Each project will be vetted by Program Management and will be included in the PeopleSoft HCM roadmap.

• The Program/Project Manager will manage the implementation through the full SDLC from start to end following PMI methodologies

*PROJECT REQUIREMENTS***

• Upgrade Initiation and Planning

• Participate in developing the upgrade technical roadmap.

• Scope Definition

• Working with project stakeholders, participate in developing the technical scope definition document

• Requirements Document

• Participate in the development of the upgrade functional and technical requirements document Interface / Analytical Tools

• Develop interfaces and/or analytical tools

• Experienced PeopleSoft Technical Developer, Upgrade experience a must, Team player

The client is undertaking a project to convert PeopleFirst application to PeopleSoft HCM Payroll version 9.0. OCTO is seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Conversion Analyst/Developer consultant to serve on the Project Team.

*PROJECT REQUIREMENTS***

• Meet with Functional Lead, PeopleFirst Technical Lead and relevant Subject Matter Experts to review information regarding current PeopleFirst system (source for data conversion) and business processes

• Perform and document data analysis

• Perform and document data mapping between PeopleFirst system and PeopleSoft HCM

• Document Functional and Data Conversion Requirements including data sources, types of data

• Identify and document the most efficient and cost effective approach to data conversion, the level of effort to perform the conversion and the resources to convert the data

• Develop programs and tools to perform data extraction from PeopleFirst system and staging data for conversion

• Perform data cleansing, data testing and data loading activities

• Create test files and prepare test cases with expected results

• Run batch test jobs and review test output and if necessary program corrections and re-test

• Identify data errors,, error correction for inconsistencies, missing data, alignment of data conversion and bridging

• Plan and execute data conversion

• Identify data that falls out and document solution to resolve data fail out issues

• Reconcile and balance converted data, with acceptable tolerances

*Required skills: ***

• PeopleSoft Integration and Conversion Experience

• Experience with conversion / interface testing (system and regression)

• Experience with user acceptance testing of interfaces

• Experience to deply new conversion / interface platform into production

• Experience with state, local or Federal government HR practices

• Experience with transfer of knowledge to the client personnel

• Experience with documentation of conversion / integration architecture design

• Experience working as *PeopleSoft SME*

• Experience with fit-gap analysis and review

• Experience with design and development of IT systems

• PeopleSoft HCM

• PeopleSoft *HCM 9.0*or higher

• *PeopleSoft HR*

• *PeopleSoft Payroll for North America*

• *PeopleTools (CI, App. Engine, SQR, IB, People Code, App. Designer)*

• *Oracle Database including 11G, SQL*

• Current experience with *PepleFirst* to *PeopleSoft Conversion project*.
