Responsibilities The Senior Virtualization Engineer will provide remote / onsite and data center deployments, support and ongoing management of Frontier Virtualized solutions. This position requires handling a full range of tasks from managing complex Cisco UCS configurations, managing large VMware configurations with multiple SANs, to implementing new technology solutions such as automation and cloud architecture. The individual we seek enjoys handling complicated challenges of all sizes and finds reward in helping the business make the most of their technology. In addition to being well organized, efficient, knowledgeable with Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, SAN technology (NetApp and EMC) and possessing the ability to work with limited supervision; the candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Time management ability is a must. Qualifications • Excellent VMware support skill-set is required • Able to write scripts to automate tasks • Oversee enterprise standards and best practices are maintained • Able to ensure enterprise security is maintained • Able to update the hardware and software as required • Advanced knowledge of vSphere at the Enterprise Level in a highly available environment • Experience with VMware, VCAC, and Vcloud technologies • Advanced knowledge of security in a virtual environment • Capacity management • Understanding of other virtual technologies (Hyper-V –RHEV) • A minimum of 6 years in the industry, including at least 2 years supporting VMware and SANs • VMWare VCP or VCAP certification (VCAP is better) • VMware vSphere 5 – vSphere HA, DRS, vDS, autodeploy • Storage: SAN, iSCSI, NFS • NetApp FAS storage • Data center experience • Must be a team player and have the ability to deal with clients one-on-one via verbal and written communication *Thanks and Regards* *Arvind Nagar* *Email- **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Direct-408-457-9381 Ext-4008 !!
