Job Title - Network Engineer Location - NY,NJ,TX Duration - 6 - 12 Months (Possible Extension) Rate - DOE Job Description -* *6+ years Cisco network design, implementation and integration experience required.* *Solid working knowledge of Checkpoint and Nokia security hardware and software, managed by Provider-1. Tufin experience a plus.* *CCSA, CCSE certification or equivalent experience required* *In depth understanding of Telecommunication and TCP/IP theory, Cabling, LAN/WAN design/configuration, DNS, and other network systems. Ability to use network analysis systems and tools.* *Eight or more years of experience in the following areas: TCP/IP, T1, T3, frame-relay, ATM, ISDN, DNS, DHCP, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP and BGP. Configuration experience with Cisco 7XXX Series routers, 6XXX switches, ASA and Pix Firewalls, Checkpoint firewalls as well as other vendor network equipment.* *Experience with F5 Big IP is a plus.* *Experience with Radware Load Balancer or similar is a strong plus.* *Demonstrated basic familiarity with Unix, VMWare and client-server systems architectures.* *Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented, business driven environment.* *Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a high level initiative.* *Strong communication and presentation skills.* *Support role.
