The Fraud Products Platform Architecture & Development team develops new capabilities for MasterCard's Decision Management Platform, which serves as the core for multiple business solutions to combat fraud and validate cardholder identity. This platform processes billions of transactions per month in tens of milliseconds using a multi-tiered, message-oriented approach for high performance and availability. The Fraud Products Platform Development Data Analyst will analyze the hundreds of Terabytes of data from a business and operations perspective, investigate inquiries into the data, assist team members in tuning queries, and develop ETL jobs to perform schedule analytics. [[Role]] • Analyze data from a business and technical perspective to assist in new product development and to respond to inquiries • Develop ETL jobs to perform scheduled analytics • Work with other team members to tune queries [[All About You]] Essential Knowledge/Experience • A wide breadth and depth of data analysis experience including SQL, RDBMS, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting • Strong data analysis skills to “pre-validate” business requirements and verify expected results. • Ability to quickly take on exploratory tasks to help investigate inquiries into the data. • Strong verbal and written communication skills Desirable Knowledge/Experience • Knowledge of Oracle Tuning & Analysis features (e.g. Explain Plans, Partitioning, Analytic Functions) • Experience developing end-to-end ETL jobs including restart and full audit capabilities (Syncsort DMX preferred) • Experience working with large datasets and parallel processing concepts. • Experience with Hadoop and other Big Data tools • Experience developing flexible reporting structures. *Thanks and Regards* *Arvind Nagar* *Email- **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Direct-408-457-9381 Ext-4008 !!
