Title: *Senior* *SQL Developer with SSIS, ETL* Duration: 1 year contract Location: *Downtown Dallas*, TX *(prefer local candidates)* Tax Terms: C2C *Senior ETL Developer - *You will join a Microsoft-centric BI team consisting of an architect, technical director, developers, and analysts. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of ETL processes including unit testing, validation and production deployment. The team follows an Agile Scrum methodology, so it is essential that you promote an environment of open communication and actively convey progress, challenges to making progress, and enhancement suggestions. Although you’ll work a typical Monday-Friday schedule, there may be occasional meetings that are conducted in the evening or early morning to accommodate other time zones. Production deployments can also happen outside of a typical work week to minimize risk to the business. This position offers you the opportunity to expand your skills in BI, as you join a growing and dynamic team with a trusted data center solution provider for many of the world’s leading enterprises. You will design and develop ETL processes throughout the entire lifecycle, including requirements gathering, unit testing, and validation. We are proactive about helping our people grow. Business intelligence is a key component to our successful future, and as continues to grow, we'll be looking for proven players to expand their skills and responsibility. *The Requirements* · A bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited college or university, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. · A minimum of three years of prior experience in business intelligence, with emphasis in the areas of designing, building, maintaining, and deploying SSIS ETL solutions. Experience with the following technologies, systems and techniques: · SSIS o *2012 Project deployment experience preferred. Previous version will be considered acceptable if you demonstrate an in-depth knowledge.* o *Design and develop ETL processes for initial and incremental loading* o *Create error and exception handling, restart capability and recovery, data cleansing, validation and monitoring* o *Ability to query the SSIS Catalog* o Query source and target databases for unit testing o Perform research to identify source and nature of data required · *Agile Scrum methodology* · *SQL Server (Ideally 2012 or later) * o *Expert T-SQL skills and experience with stored procedures, triggers, views, functions, indexes etc.* · *Understanding of Kimball dimensional modeling* Experience with the following considered *a plus:* · SSAS · MDX · Source control (TFS) · SSRS · Schema compare tools Thanks for taking your valuable time in reading my email.
