*Sr. Java/J2EE Developer* *Location: New Haven, CT* *Duration: 6 Months, * *Phone and F2F* *If they have Mule that is a plus.* *Job Description:* *The Sr. Java/J2EE Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting applications for the organization's Internet/Intranet sites. Develops solutions requiring analysis and research. Works on small to large projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments. Works on one or more projects at a time in an e-commerce environment. * • Programs all or selected components of Web applications based on given requirements. • Collects client requirements, performs analysis, writes program specifications and develops designs for projects. • Works with the team's developers and support team providing user interface development, and takes guidance from project management and technical leads. • Analyzes existing code base and converted Java/JSP code for potential rewrite in new coding standard. • Translates detailed design into working code for web application. • Codes, tests, debugs, maintains and refines the web software to produce the required product. • Documents components and applications. *Qualifications:* • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience. • 7+ years of IT work experience in software development, installation and modification in an online environment. • Experience in designing, developing, and testing systems/services using J2EE/JEE architecture • Technical experience using: Java, HTML5, CSS3, JUnit, JSP, Servlets, Struts 2, JDBC, Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse, Rational Application Developer, SQL (MS SQL Server, UDB environment), WebSphere 6.x or similar application server, RESTful Services, XML, and UNIX/Linux. • Practical experience with Web Services. • Experience in Adaptive Responsive Design. • Strong written and verbal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Email is the best way to reach me.* ISO 9001:2008 Certified WMBE Firm 1441 E.
