*ROLE: QA Analyst* *DURATION: 7 month contract* *LOCATION: New York, NY* *CLIENT: Sirius XMU* *Need only GC/USC.* *Interview process :* · Telephone · In-person Interview (Mandatory) · written Technical Evaluation The Functional Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for functional testing of new and enhanced components of the Customer's Business Intelligence platform. Responsibilities • Transform customer requirements into workable test scenarios at the functional level. Develop and maintain test scenarios • Review test scripts, test conditions, test data, and expected results for test plans prepared by the customer's testers • Reviews and provides input to test deliverables • Review project deliverables (for example, Business Requirements, Use Cases, Technical Designs) as they relate to a given test stage • Verify the validity of a solution from an end-to-end testing and end-user perspective • Work with the management team to identify risks related to testing efforts • Record defects and issues in accordance with the project's defect and issue management plans • Work with the application teams to resolve issues that arise during test planning and execution • Participate in the production release control process to ensure that solutions meet business requirements • Inform the Project Test Lead of issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the solution or the testing process • Execute and verify test scripts • Validate defect fixes *Minimum Qualifications* • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience • At least 8 years working experience in a variety of technical roles within Information Technology • 5 or more years’ experience in QA analysis roles in a BI environment • Requirements and General Skills: • Strong interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Technical Skills* • Proven ability to use standard QA tools such as Quality Center • Ability to develop and use test plans, test cases, test scripts, test results • Knowledge of data warehouse architectures and processes • Understanding of the features and capabilities of one more DBMS's commonly used in data warehousing such as Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server • Understanding of ETL architectures and experience deploying ETL solutions in a data warehousing environment • Experience using technical documents such as business requirements, functional requirements, database design representations, and data and systems flow diagrams *Please share the profiles at: [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Thanks & Regards, S Narayanan Source InfoTech Inc. 3840, Park Avenue, Suite C-205, Edison, NJ-08820 (MBE CERTIFIED) Phone: 609-945-1171 || Fax: 732-909-2282 || Email: **[email protected]* <[email protected]>* | GTalk:-snarayanan2sourceinfotech* -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: Under Bill s.1618 Title III passed by the 105th U.S. Congress this mail cannot be considered Spam as long as we include contact information and a remove link for removal from our mailing list.
