Duration of assignment and possible extensions 12 months Interview timeline and process Phone screen followed by onsite interview Location: San Francisco, CA Primary Duties and Responsibilities • Work with the UX and creative teams to help grow ideas to reach their full potential • Collaborate with the technology team to deliver achievable projects • Stay abreast of the latest technologies and identify ways to utilize them • Create and test prototypes to demonstrate creative thinking • Play with and repurpose technology to discover new uses • Share new technology to inspire the team • Help ensure the best user experience solutions are being produced • Act as a thought leader internally and externally and facilitate innovation workshops with clients and partners • Contribute and support strategic goals of organization • Act as a change agent, sparking fresh ideas that are infused in our culture and our products Qualifications • 4+ years of experience with native app development for either Android or iOS. Android preferred. o For Android: Experience with Gradle, Android Studio; Good understanding of manifest: activity, service configuration, intent-filter, permissions and user features; Good understanding of AsynTask, receiving/sending remote/local notification; Good understanding of intent and prioritize tasks. o For iOS: Experience with certification request and maintenance; Familiar with these frameworks, but not limited to: AVFoundation, Security, CoreBluetooth, CoreGraphics, CoreLocation; Good understanding of background tasks, URLSession, URLSessionTask. • Experience with API integration, JSON feed, error/exception handling. • Good understanding of short distance communication protocol, such as Bluetooth, NFC, etc. • Proactive, enthusiastic and passionate about emerging technologies. • A working and demonstrable understanding of mobile and wearable technologies and web-based APIs. • Interest in or experience with hardware integration, signal processing. • Basic experience with web front-end development and responsive design.
